Come Celebrate the Shire 30th Birthday.  The event shall feature the two traditional Thorngill melee style Tournaments for the heavies.  The rapiers shall have two tournaments.  Classes shall include the history of Thorngill.  The Mistress Constance Aveline Merrifield shall present the Feast of two old Geezers.  The evening shall be kicked off by the Thorngill Thespian Review followed by the Shire’s birthday celebration.

The 10 point weighted team list shall be a double elimination.  In the finals, the team from the loss bracket shall retain the loss.  Points are as follows; Royal Peers 5, Knights 4, Squires 3, and Men-at-Arms 2.The ménage a trios team tournament shall be a round robin tournament.  Teams must compose of three fighters with at least one male and one female.  The third member is gender optional (Please, no water balloons).  

The Rapiers shall start with a standard double elimination tournament.  The format for the second tournament shall be forthcoming.

*Per Kingdom Law – no family to pay a site fee higher than three adult member prices to an event as long as the children are 15 years of age or younger.   Proof of membership is required.

This is a new site for the SCA.  Any violation of the site rules shall cause immediate expulsion without refund.

Site Rules

1. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE DRY SITE.
2. Site has over 120 beds and Occupancy must be maintained.  Cabins have some outlets.  Camping is permitted
3. Fire permitted only in designated areas.
4. No Drugs, Firearms, Fireworks, or Pets allowed.
5. No Vehicles allowed past the Parking Lots.

(From Interstate Highway 65: Take exit 186 (US 31 Prattville - Pine Level).  Go north on US 31 for 2.5 miles to Autauga County Road 40.  Turn left on Autauga County 40 and go for 3.4 miles.  Turn right on Camp Tukabatchee Road for 0.5 miles into Camp Hobbs.
